DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2008) - On Monday, December 1st, Retired Rear Admiral Roger Girouard will make public his report into the capsizing of L'Acadien II. Last April, Rear Admiral Roger Girouard was appointed by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans to lead an independent investigation of Canadian Coast Guard policies and procedures. The objective of the investigation was to learn from the incident so as to prevent any possible recurrences and, to make necessary changes and improvements to internal Coast Guard policies and procedures.
