Media Advisory: Fraser Institute to Release Updated Study Tracking Amount of Corporate Welfare Dispensed by Governments to Business

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 26, 2009) - The Fraser Institute, one of Canada's leading economic think tanks, will release an updated study on Friday, November 27 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern) that tracks and calculates the amount of money dispensed by governments in subsidies and handouts to business.

It also examines the recent government bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler and their effect on Canadian taxpayers.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwire on Friday, November 27.

The full study will be available as a free PDF at www.fraserinstitute.org.
