Media Advisory: Fraser Institute Report Comparing and Ranking Alberta Elementary Schools to Be Released Sunday, March 21

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 19, 2010) - The Fraser Institute will release its Report Card on Alberta's Elementary Schools 2010 on Sunday, March 21 at 6:30 a.m. (Mountain).

This annual report is the only easily accessible, objective tool allowing parents and educators to compare the academic performance of 642 English and French, public, charter, private, and separate elementary schools from across Alberta. The report card is based on data derived from provincewide tests of reading, writing, and math skills administered by Alberta Education, the provincial ministry of education.
