TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 21, 2008) - Dr. Jack Mintz, University of Calgary public policy professor, will discuss the current global financial crisis and its impact on Canada's economic policy during the final event of the 2008 Fall cocktail series, Behind the Spin: Fraser @ The Fifth Monday, November 24.

Dr. Mintz is the former president and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute and former professor of business economics at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He is currently at the University of Calgary as Palmer Professor of Public Policy.
