Media Advisory: Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center to Celebrate Jewish New Year at Queen's Park

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2009) - Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center has invited Members of Provincial Parliament to a special reception at Queen's Park in celebration of Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year.

"Rosh Hashanah is a festive holiday for the Jewish community during which we celebrate fresh new beginnings," said Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center. "It is a time of reflection, contemplation and hope for a peaceful new year. We are very pleased that many MPPs will share this celebration with us alongside our members."
