2020 Vision: Adaptation to Environmental Change

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 15, 2007) - Medias are invited to attend Genome Canada's International Conference entitled 2020 Vision: adaptation to Environmental Change.

During this three-day conference, scientists from around the world will examine the way genomics and proteomics research enhances our understanding of key environmental issues. The Conference will address topics such as: systems biology, infectious diseases, behavioural genetics, race, biodiversity and global warning.

WHEN: October 17 to 19, 2007

WHERE: Chateau Frontenac, Quebec City

Conference keynote speakers include David Cox, John Aitchison, Claire Fraser-Liggett, Bartha Maria Knoppers, Eddy Rubin, Ron Fourney, David Bentley and Jean Lemire.
