Media Advisory: Governor General Signs Book of Condolence on the Death of the Right Honourable Romeo LeBlanc

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 24, 2009) - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaelle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will sign today the book of condolence of the Right Honourable Romeo LeBlanc following his death.

The signing of the book of condolence will take place at 4:45 p.m. in the foyer of the Residence. The Governor General will make short statement.

Signing of the book of condolence for the public

The public can sign the book of condolence at Rideau Hall everyday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The public can sign the book of condolence at the Citadelle of Quebec every day, starting Thursday, June 25, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Media wishing to cover the photo op of the Governor General signing the book of condolence should arrive at the Princess Anne Entrance no later than 4:30 p.m.
