Media Advisory/Invitation: CAA and Pollution Probe Introduce Tools to Help Motorists Reduce Their Ecological Footprint

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 24, 2009) - Pollution Probe, a Canadian organization specializing in environmental issues, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA), and CAA-Quebec are introducing new tools for motorists who are concerned about doing their part to reduce emissions by saving fuel. The official release of the Primer on Automobile Fuel Efficiency and Emissions - a first-of-its-kind environmental resource - will also provide an opportunity to officialise a partnership between CAA and Natural Resources Canada for disseminating information and raising awareness.

Where?
Panoramic Hall, Montreal Science Centre
Quai-King-Edward Street, Old Port of Montreal

When?
Thursday, November 26, 2009, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

What?
Information and solutions excerpted from the Primer on Automobile
Fuel Efficiency and Emissions, a first-of-its-kind educational resource
developed by Pollution Probe, with the support of CAA and NRCan, that
demonstrates that while automobiles are part of the problem, motorists
can be part of the solution.

The point?
To reduce greenhouse gases and... your fuel bill!

Why?
Because everyone can make a difference and we can tell you how!

What will also be there?
CAA-Quebec's driving simulator to demonstrate
the benefits of "eco-driving." Media members will be welcome to
try the simulator.
