About Italian Fashion

Italian high fashion was born in the 1950's when Gian Battista Giorgini invited some of his most important clients to attend the first showing of Italian High Fashions featuring 10 high fashion couturiers and four boutiques. News of this fashion first, a runway show, spread around the world, initiating the Made in Italy fashion phenomenon. Italy and Italian fashion designers have been the pioneers of numerous fashion trends, new design techniques and pure creative genius.
