Media Advisory: Media Availability With Canadian Show Jumping World Champion Ian Millar in Advance of Agri-Sport All Star Weekend at Scotiabank Place

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 30, 2009) - Olympic silver medalist Ian Millar and Canadian champion bull rider Aaron Roy, in conjunction with members of the Agri-Sport All Star Weekend, invite media representatives to Scotiabank Place as Olympian horse Ole and other show jumping horses are put through their paces in advance of Saturday evening's Equestrian Grand Prix.

Saturday's show jumping finale will bring to a close the inaugural Agri-Sport All Star Weekend, which features a Professional Bull Riding (PBR) Canada series stop on Friday evening, followed by Saturday's Kubota Canada Challenge show jumping event and President's Choice SuperDogs.

Who: Ian Millar, a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame, a nine-time Olympian and nine-time Canadian showjumping champion, will be on hand to preview the weekend's equestrian events. Millar will be joined by 2008 PBR Canadian national champion Aaron Roy.

What: Interview and photo opportunities with show representatives and Canadian Olympic horse Ole.

When: Thursday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m.

Where: Scotiabank Place - arena floor. Media are asked to please park in Lot 4 and use Gate 3 for entry.

The Agri-Sport All Star Weekend is comprised of four events over the course of two days at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place on Oct. 2 and 3 as follows:

Friday, Oct. 2 - 7 p.m. (Professional Bull Riding Canada - Hard Hitting Action)

Saturday, Oct. 3 - 11 a.m. (Kubota Canada Speed Challenge)

Saturday, Oct. 3 - 2 p.m. (President's Choice SuperDogs Raise The "Woof")

Saturday, Oct. 3 - 7 p.m. (Equestrian All Star Grand Prix)
