QUEBEC CITY, CANADA--(Marketwire - June 2, 2009) - Media is advised on a media opportunity with LTG Roland Kather, Commander Allied Land Component Command Heidelberg and chairman of this year's serial of the Allied Chief of Army Staff Talks (ACAST). The Talks are currently taking place at Quebec City, Canada. The meeting is co-hosted by LGen Andrew Leslie, Canadian Chief of Land Staff.

The annual Allied Chief of Army Staff Talks intent to foster greater awareness of Alliance associations and interoperability by all NATO Army Chiefs in a single forum. The forum promotes open dialogue on issues mostly relating to NATO. After 2006, Canada agreed to co-host the fourth ACAST again.

This year's talks are carried out under the motto "NATO's 60th Anniversary". The ACAST focused on two major themes "NATO: Where are we now - and where are we going?" and "Areas of Interest".

The media opportunity is scheduled for Wednesday, 3 June 09, commencing at 1115 hrs and anticipated to last about a quarter of an hour. It will be carried out in the rear foyer of the Hotel Chateau Laurier. Access to the foyer for the set-up will be granted from Avenue Wilfrid Laurier beginning at 1100hrs. Media is advised to bring their press id carts.

A Bell line connection and a PA system will be available on the spot, but for those who want to have a connection line have to get arrangements directly with Bell prior to the conference.
