Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary Gerald Keddy to Tour Exhibit Featuring Canada's Assistance to Afghanistan at Tall Ships 2009

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - July 15, 2009) - At 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, Parliamentary Secretary for International Trade and Member of Parliament for South Shore-St. Margaret's, Gerald Keddy, will tour an exhibit that highlights Canada's civilian and military assistance to Afghanistan, on display at the Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival through to July 20th. A short media availability will follow.

Parliamentary Secretary Keddy, will tour the exhibit with a civilian official from the Government of Canada and RCMP Officer who have both recently returned from working in Afghanistan.
