Media Advisory-Phil Fontaine to Address Ontario Energy Leaders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 23, 2008) - The 190-member Ontario Energy Association launches its 2008 Breakfast Speakers Series on January 24th. Phil Fontaine, National Chief, Assembly of First Nations will address 250 leaders and key decision-makers from Ontario's energy sector on the topic "First Nations Issues, Concerns and Opportunities as they Relate to Ontario's Energy Sector."

"The Ontario Energy Association is honoured to be hosting National Chief Fontaine and to have Ontario Aboriginal Affairs Minister and Government House Leader Michael Bryant joining us as our special guest," said OEA President and CEO Shane Pospisil.

"We're also delighted to be hosting Ontario Regional Chief Angus Toulouse, First Nations Chiefs William Montour from Six Nations of the Grand River and Bryan LaForme of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation, as well as renowned First Nations business leaders John Kim Bell and John Bernard," Pospisil added. "Good working relationships are always based on dialogue and understanding, and having the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations come and speak directly to our membership is clearly an important part of this ongoing process."
