Media Advisory/Photo Op: The Calgary International Airport to Officially Open New Parkade and Announce Reduced Weekly Parking Rates

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 7, 2009) - The Calgary Airport Authority



WHAT: This Thursday, The Calgary Airport Authority and special guest
Deputy Mayor Gord Lowe will officially open The Airport's newest
parkade providing travellers with 1,930 additional covered stalls.
The new parkade is part of The Airport's Parking Made Easy program,
a multi-phase program aimed at enhancing guest experience and
operational efficiency.

In addition, the Authority will be announcing decreased weekly
parking rates in both its economy lot and parkades.

A photo opportunity will be provided to mark the parkade's official
opening.

WHO: Gord Lowe, Deputy Mayor and Alderman - Ward 2
Bob Schmitt, Senior Vice-President of Planning and Engineering, The
Calgary Airport Authority will be making opening remarks.

WHEN: Thursday, December 10, 2009
10:30 a.m.

WHERE: The Calgary International Airport
Parkade 2

(1) Enter Parkade 1, then follow the through road and signs to
Parkade 2. Parking will be set aside for media and there will be a
volunteer near the Parkade 2 entrance to direct you to media
parking.
