Mel's journey began on May 20 in Vancouver and will conclude on Aug. 29 in St. John's. Along the way, a series of events designed to build awareness and acceptance about mental health issues are taking place. Mr. Thompson will be in Ottawa on July 27 when funds raised by the SENSational Ride for Mental Health will be presented to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health on Parliament Hill.
