Media Advisory/Seal-eating Politicians Beware: Godseala is Coming to Town!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2009) -

WHAT: "Godseala", a 12 m giant inflatable harp seal pup (also
known as "Sparky") will be appearing on Parliament Hill
tomorrow to show his opposition to Canada's commercial seal
hunt.

Given current predictions for high and gusting winds,
Godseala's handlers expect to have their hands full keeping
the giant seal from scaling government buildings.

The inflatable seal is following the route of the Olympic
torch relay, and is appearing in major cities across Canada
to raise awareness and unite Canadians in their opposition
to the commercial seal hunt.

This peaceful event will not disrupt the Olympic torch
relay, and is not being held to protest the Olympic games.

WHERE: Parliament Hill, corner of Wellington and Metcalfe.

WHEN: Noon, Saturday December 12, 2009.

NOTE: IFAW seal hunt observer Sheryl Fink will be present to conduct interviews with media.
