Media Advisory: Senators Brush Up on Blackjack Skills in Preparation for the 2007 Bell/Ottawa Senators Viva Las Vegas Ice & Dice Event

Players to get training following practice at Scotiabank Place on Friday, Jan. 26

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 24, 2007) - Several Ottawa Senators players will brush up on their blackjack skills following practice at Scotiabank Place on Friday, Jan. 26. The players will eventually serve as dealers for the 2007 Bell/Ottawa Senators Viva Las Vegas Ice & Dice presented by Samsung, which is set for Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Que.

Themed around the grand Las Vegas lifestyle, the 2007 Bell/Ottawa Senators Viva Las Vegas Ice & Dice event is the premier fundraising event of the Ottawa Senators Foundation. Funds raised from the annual event will benefit the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, CSSS de Gatineau Foundation and other local health-related charities whose programs focus on improving the quality of life for children and youth. More than 600 guests are expected for the evening, one of the region's premier social events of the year.
