Media Advisory: Senators welcome Canadian Forces to Scotiabank Place

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 29, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators home game against the Washington Capitals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, will be dedicated to the Canadian Forces (CF). In partnership with other local businesses, the Senators will host more than 1,500 of Canada's soldiers, sailors and air personnel. Canadian Forces family members will also be in attendance.

Prior to the game on Tuesday night, Ottawa Senators president and CEO Roy Mlakar and COO Cyril Leeder will present General Rick Hillier, Chief of Defence Staff, with a Team Canada world junior jersey.

What: Reception as part of the 3rd annual Canadian Forces Appreciation Night

When: 6:10 p.m. - Presentation by Roy Mlakar and Cyril Leeder to General Rick Hillier; 7:30 p.m. - Ottawa Senators vs. Washington Capitals.
