Mercer County Community College to Advise and Consult With ETS in Development of Products and Services Tailored to Community Colleges' Needs

PRINCETON, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 25, 2006 --

WHAT: ETS and Mercer County Community College will sign a three-year
      agreement to collaborate in the development and pilot testing of
      assessment and instructional solutions for community colleges. It is
      the first such agreement between ETS and a community college.

BACKGROUND: ETS and Mercer County Community College are working together to
            respond to the unique challenges and needs facing community
            colleges today.  MCCC Acting President Thomas N. Wilfrid is a
            member of ETS's National Community College Advisory Council, a
            group of 16 community college leaders, chancellors and
            presidents formed by ETS Senior Vice President Mari Pearlman to
            track the growing importance of America's community colleges
            and the unique accountability and instructional challenges they
            face. ETS and MCCC are taking the relationship further by also
            signing a three-year renewable agreement through which MCCC
            will pilot test ETS products specifically designed for this
            educational sector and provide feedback. This will allow ETS to
            try out new ideas and conduct research to ensure the
            reliability and validity of new products it plans to bring to
            the community college educational sector.
