Media Advisory: Sonics' CTO Presents Paper at Multicore Expo

Company Demos Multicore Connectivity Solutions at Show

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) -  Sonics, Inc.®, a premier supplier of intelligent on-chip communications solutions, announced today that Drew Wingard, chief technology officer, will present a paper, titled Maximizing Multichannel DRAM Through Invisible Load Balancing, at Multicore Expo. The presentation is April 28, at 3:00 p.m. in the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose.

The presentation, targeted at designers and engineering managers, will detail the techniques used to deploy multichannel DRAMs and make recommendations for optimal tuning of multichannel memory system performance.

Also at Multicore, Sonics will demonstrate its newest on-chip network product, SNAP (Sonics Network for AMBA® Protocol), in booth #2402. SNAP supports both homogeneous and heterogeneous multicore SoCs. The SNAP capture tool provides designers a simple yet powerful environment to capture and optimize on-chip networks for a wide-range of multicore SoCs.

Multicore Expo is collocated with ESC Silicon Valley and runs from April 26-29.
