Media Advisory: The Canadian Museum for Human Rights Presents Amazing Feet Media Launch and Photo Opportunity

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - Construction is well underway on the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. In celebration of this historic milestone and in recognition of the collective efforts it took to make the dream a reality, the Museum is presenting "Amazing Feet", an event to be held in Winnipeg at The Forks from June 18-21, 2009 (with online participation available for those residing outside the Winnipeg area). Winnipeggers and indeed, all Canadians are invited to join in the celebration by making an imprint of their foot or hand to be preserved in a time capsule that will later be buried on the Museum site.

Media are invited to a special launch of the event on Thursday, June 18th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will open to the public on Thursday, June 18th, 2009 at noon. Featured at the media launch will be "amazing" stories as well as special guests leaving their hand or foot prints. Photo opportunities will be available at this time.

Amazing Feet will be open to the public at The Forks at the following times:

Thursday June 18th, 2009 Noon - 2:00 p.m.

Friday June 19th, 2009 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 20th, 2009 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 21st, 2009 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
