Media6Degrees Expands Sales and Marketing Team to Support Dramatic Growth

Veterans of Microsoft, Google, and Conde Nast Extend Expertise in Advertising Technology Sales and Marketing

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 9, 2009) - Media6Degrees Inc., the first company to offer marketers scalable and customized audiences based on online social connections, today announced that Alice Curran, Brian Hersholt and Tom O'Neil have joined the company as sales executives, and Tiffany Sumner has joined the company as marketing manager. In their new roles, Curran, Hersholt and O'Neil manage client and agency relationships in key U.S. markets -- New England, West Coast and Midwest -- to support growing demand for the company's social targeting technology. Sumner leads the effort to establish the company as a thought leader in the social targeting arena.

Alice Curran is based in Boston and is a 13-year media veteran. She joins Media6Degrees from Microsoft Advertising, where she worked with prominent advertisers in the Boston market.

Tom O'Neil is based in Chicago and joins the company from Google, where he spent six years working on the Travel and Consumer Packaged Goods teams. Prior to Google, O'Neil opened the Midwest office of Dynamic Logic.

Brian Hersholt is based in San Francisco and joins the company from, where he managed sales for the Bay Area and was awarded the 2008 Top Seller Award for outstanding sales performance.

Tiffany Sumner is based in New York and manages all marketing and communications efforts for the company. Prior to Media6Degrees, she worked in marketing at The New Yorker and managed marketing and communications at ContextWeb.
