Memeo Connect 2.0 Unveiled With Memeo GDrive for Desktop and iPhone

Popular Google Docs Sync Application Hits General Availability, Now Also on iPhone

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - August 18, 2010) -  Memeo today announced the general availability of Memeo Connect 2.0, a Mac and Windows desktop service that enables Google Apps Premier Edition users to effortlessly access, migrate and synchronize all file types to Google Docs™ using the Memeo GDrive. The application, which is now also available for iPhone, was downloaded by more than 2,000 businesses and has synchronized more than one million files in just a two-month beta period.

Developed with Google, Memeo Connect leverages Google Docs' Web-based storage and collaboration capabilities as the cloud back-end of the application. Memeo Connect 2.0 includes the new Memeo GDrive that seamlessly integrates a cloud drive synchronizing Google Docs™ accounts with the desktop environment.

Now Available for iPhone
Memeo Connect Reader proved itself to be one of the most downloaded productivity apps for the iPad, ranking in the top 50 in its category within the first week following its launch. Today, Memeo Connect Reader is also now available as a free download for iPhone. The iPhone application gives users an easy way to sync, view, and share documents stored within Google Docs. To download the Memeo Connect Reader app, go to iTunes [link].

An Opportunity for SMBs
Longtime Google Docs users, early adopters, and progressive small to midsize businesses have historically driven Google Docs' growth. Memeo Connect 2.0 reflected this trend during beta testing. Analysis of Memeo Connect's 2.0 beta users include SMBs and end-users on both Mac and Windows with 30 percent international users, 36 percent using the application across multiple devices and overall heavy search usage. Over 1 million files were stored by more than 2,000 users completing an average of 10 cloud-based searches per day since June 2010.

Early Praise from Partners: Cloudy Today, Bright Tomorrow
Another crucial development for Memeo Connect is the partnerships that Memeo is forging among cloud solution providers and professional services organizations. One such partnership is with Appirio, the leading cloud solution provider in the industry.

"Our enterprise clients are looking for their mission critical cloud solutions to be delivered to users in all sorts of ways -- not just through a browser," said Michael O'Brien, Appirio co-founder and head of Google Cloud Services. "It's very exciting to see Memeo continue to push the envelope at making the cloud accessible from wherever users need it."

"The future of office computing is going to be in the cloud and on devices," said Hong Bui, CEO and co-founder of Memeo. "I am very proud of the entire Memeo team for bringing that future a little closer today."
