Menlo Worldwide Logistics' Mexico City Multi-Client Facility Adds New Warehousing Customer

Company Providing Inventory Management for Crane Worldwide Logistics

SAN MATEO, CA and MEXICO CITY--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - Menlo Worldwide Logistics, the global logistics subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced that it has launched a warehouse and inventory management solution for a new customer at its Mexico City multi-client facility. Menlo is managing more than 200 SKUs of premier writing products for a customer of Crane Worldwide Logistics, a global freight forwarder based in Houston. The operation occupies roughly 8,000 square feet of Menlo's 45,000-square-foot warehouse in Mexico City.

At the Mexico City facility, Menlo is working to manage costs, while adding increased efficiency, control and visibility of inventory. Its activities comprise full management of inventory for Crane's customer, including:

--  Receiving inbound materials imported into Mexico
--  Deconsolidation and storage
--  Pick and pack
--  Preparation for shipment to retailers in Mexico
