Meridex Completes Acquisition of Savicon

Purchase provides cornerstone of Meridex' new strategic direction

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 15, 2007) - Meridex Software Corporation ("Meridex" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MSC) announced today its completion of the acquisition of Savicon, Inc., a privately-owned provider of comprehensive IP video surveillance solutions, for consideration of 3,881,833 common shares of Meridex, which are subject to a hold period expiring March 15, 2008. With the acquisition finalized, Meridex has firmly established itself as a leader in the rapidly expanding IP security and surveillance market.
