MicroLink's Tom Resing Achieves Microsoft Certified Master SharePoint Certification

Resing Is One of a Few Sharepoint Specialists to Achieve Certification Who Is Not a Microsoft Employee

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) -  MicroLink, LLC's Senior Software Engineer, Tom Resing, has successfully completed the Microsoft Certified Masters (MCM) SharePoint Certification Program. The Microsoft Certified Master Certification Program is the top-tier technical certification for SharePoint products and technologies. The rigorous program trains, recognizes, and develops the top SharePoint technical experts in the world.

The MCM certification is for technical professionals whose primary responsibilities include designing, building, configuring, deploying, and supporting large and complex Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) environments. World-wide, only 43 people hold the MCM SharePoint Certification. As a Microsoft Certified Master in SharePoint, Tom shares a further distinction with only 17 other MCMs who are not Microsoft employees.

"MicroLink's strong belief in the continuous education and training of our technical team is why we developed a technology reachback program and why we support the highest level of certifications available through Microsoft," said David Truitt, president and CEO, MicroLink, LLC. "We were proud to support Tom's efforts to earn this prestigious certification and very pleased to be one of a few companies to employ a Microsoft Certified Master in SharePoint. Tom's accomplishment ensures that MicroLink stays ahead of a constantly changing technology environment and delivers a unique benefit of recognized expertise and achievement for our SharePoint customers."

As MicroLink's first Microsoft Certified Master in SharePoint, Tom will take on an increased role in communicating with business and technology stakeholders to understand the customer's current and long-term organizational, technical needs, and help design solutions to meet those needs. Tom has delivered solutions based on SharePoint and Microsoft Content Management Server since early 2005 from public websites for Fortune 500 companies to coordination centers for the US Government.

He is a lead SharePoint blogger for MicroLink with a focus on SharePoint development and configuration with a preference towards leveraging the out of the box SharePoint capabilities. To read Tom's blog please visit
