Microstaq Continues Expansion With Strategic Chinese Office

Science City Office to Handle Sales, Marketing and Application Engineering Activity for Chinese HVAC/R Market

AUSTIN, TX and SCIENCE CITY, CHINA--(Marketwire - April 26, 2010) -  Microstaq Inc., a developer of the world's most advanced silicon MEMS-based fluid control technology, today announced the opening of the company's first Chinese office in Science City, Guangzhou, China. The office will be responsible for strategic growth in the Chinese HVAC/R market, including OEMs and distribution.

Microstaq's Chinese business license was granted on March 30th and the office is now located in room 903, Tower B2 of the Creativity Building Complex, Science City, Guangzhou. Gene Yao, an industry veteran with 35 years in high tech and Tsinghua alumni, will lead Microstaq China as its Chairman. Mr Yu Li, who has a long history in building successful HVAC component businesses in China, is President of Sales for Microstaq China. The expansion into China is anticipated to add significant sales growth over the next three years.
