Minister of State (Seniors) Marks Opening of 2010 World Senior Curling Championship

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 16, 2010) - The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State (Seniors), today extended good wishes to the Canadian men and women participating in the 2010 World Senior Curling Championship being held in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

"Our government is committed to supporting the involvement of seniors in communities across Canada—particularly participation that promotes healthy lifestyle choices. It is evident that the World Senior Curling Championship Organizing Committee shares this interest," said Minister of State Ablonczy.
