Moen(R) Showerheads Meet EPA's New WaterSense(R) Criteria

NORTH OLMSTED, OH--(Marketwire - March 31, 2010) - Conserving natural resources while meeting consumer needs are major considerations in the product design process at Moen Incorporated. And now, the number one faucet brand in North America is taking its environmental commitment to the next level, as 17 of its showerheads have received the first certifications from the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) new WaterSense® labeling criteria specifically for showering products. In addition to Moen®'s lavatory faucets, which are all certified to meet WaterSense criteria for faucets, the newly certified showerheads represent every category in Moen's showering portfolio -- including wall-mount, rainshower and hand shower showerheads -- which are available in a number of on-trend finishes at wholesale showrooms nationwide.

The certified showerheads are designed to help environmentally conscious developers, builders and plumbers provide consumers with an optimized water flow that doesn't sacrifice performance. They feature flow rates ranging from 1.75 gallons per minute (gpm) to 2.0 gpm, versus the industry standard of 2.5 gpm.
