Molson And Union Agree to New Contract for Vancouver Brewery

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 15, 2006) - Molson Canada and the Brewery Winery and Distillery Workers Union (Local 300), representing Molson's unionized employees in Vancouver, have successfully reached a new collective agreement.

The new six year collective agreement for the 151 unionized employees at the Vancouver brewery extends to April 21, 2012.

"We are pleased with this settlement as it provides value for both the union and our company as a whole," said Rene Holt, Molson's Vancouver brewery manager.

Molson has a long history in B.C. and a tradition of brewing great beer in Vancouver while supporting the local economy and community.
