MonoGen Highlights the MonoPrep® System at the 55th Annual American Society of Cytopathology Meeting November 2-6

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwire - Oct. 24, 2007) - MonoGen, Inc. ("Corporation") (TSX:MOG) is hosting high profile educational and interactive events for attendees as it introduces the MonoPrep system, the first fully-automated slide preparation system for both Gyn and non-Gyn cytology, at the American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) meeting in Houston, November 2-6.

Headline educational activities include two Glass Slide Workshops (November 2 and 3), and a Medical Education Symposium on November 4 with a panel of respected leaders that include: Cytopathologists Raheela Ashfaq MD (Program Moderator), R. Marshall Austin MD, Ronald Sirota MD, as well as Gynecologic Oncologist Bradley Monk MD.

Also being featured will be the new MonoPrep processor, consumables and slides at ASC booth # 405. Members can view MonoPrep slides in high definition as Jean Taylor, an expert and educator in cytotechnology, leads MonoPrep Gyn and non-Gyn slide reviews throughout the meeting.
