Montreal Alouettes: Training Camp Report-Day 11

SAINT-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - May 31, 2006) - The following is today's recap of the Montreal Alouettes' training camp now taking place at the Campus du Fort Saint-Jean.

Morning practice

This morning's practice was short and focused mainly on team drills and special teams returns.

Although the practice was short, Coach Matthews made sure that all drills were run to perfection.

Great hands

Once again the highlights of the practice were provided by the receiving corps. Many made brilliant catches including Adam Eckert, Shaun Diner and Ben Cahoon.

Weather Report

After a brief thunder shower last night the morning sun dried the field and the players were delighted to be practicing in a breezy 24 degrees Celsius.

Back to St-Jean

The team will return to Montreal on Saturday and will be back in St-Jean for training camp on Sunday, when they will practice at 3 p.m.
