Moschetti to Lead Esterline Communication Systems

Business Platform Includes US and UK Military Communication Companies


BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwire - December 3, 2009) - Esterline Corporation (NYSE: ESL) (www.esterline.com), a leading specialty manufacturer serving the aerospace and defense markets, today announced the promotion of Kevin Moschetti to the position of President of its Communication Systems platform, comprising two major business units located in the US and the UK.

Moschetti has 20 years of experience in the aerospace and technology sectors to help him lead the platform which includes the recently acquired Racal Acoustics, an operation headquartered in the UK with offices in the US. Racal specializes in secure military audio products including ruggedized headsets and handsets. The business platform also includes Palomar Products, a secure data and communication systems and components provider located in southern California. Moschetti has been Palomar's President since 2007.

Before joining Palomar, Moschetti spent 14 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Esterline, including National Sales Manager and Vice President of its Advanced Input Systems operation. He started his career as an Aeronautical Engineer at Boeing in Seattle.

Moschetti graduated from MIT in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
