MyScreen Technology Found to Be Patentable by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO)

TORONTO, ONTARIO and MIAMI, FLORIDA--(Marketwire - Feb. 2, 2010) - MyScreen Mobile, Inc. (MyScreen) (PINK SHEETS:MYSL) (FRANKFURT:WICI) announced today that its technology has been found to be patentable pursuant to an International Preliminary Report on Patentability issued October 22, 2009, by the World Intellectual Property Office in accordance with the Patent Cooperation Treaty. 

MyScreen initiated the patent process in June 2007 and has established priority dates in Canada, United States and with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).

A key aspect of the process is the International Preliminary Report on Patentability (IPRP) which is a report summarizing the assessment made by the examiners at WIPO. 

The MyScreen report has been received and has indicated that many of the claims made are deemed novel and inventive, and having industrial applicability. As a result the report is deemed "overall positive" and strengthens the status of the MyScreen Intellectual Property as well as demonstrating an improved likelihood of gaining patent protection in the markets MyScreen submits to for coverage.

MyScreen Mobile has now filed national patent applications for its MyScreen Mobile technology in many jurisdictions including United States, Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, UAE, Egypt, Canada and Australia.
