NEXIO Introduces New Infrared Multi-Touch Screens

LITTLE FERRY, NJ--(Marketwire - November 4, 2009) - NEXIO announced today the debut of their new Infrared Multi-Touch Screens & Monitors. As of October 22, 2009 (the release date for Windows 7), a whole new market for multi-touch screens & monitors has emerged, because Windows 7 supports multi-touches.

"We are proud to offer these high quality infrared multi-touch screens & monitors to customers," says Harry Rhim, CEO of SYNET USA, a distributor of NEXIO products in the States. "Their durability, accuracy, and low response time make them winners. Every company that has been using single touch screens will have to consider switching to multi-touch screens."

The IR multi-touch screens will allow many software applications to emerge. In order to serve all available markets, NEXIO manufactures 10.4" and up to 103" touch screens. There are four different models, each with different purposes. The first is the touch screens themselves. Customers would integrate these screens with their own designed systems or TVs. Second is the complete touch monitor system, combining the touch screen and HD LCD TV. Finally, there are two smaller-sized models with rugged frames for commercial and industrial uses. With all these different models, NEXIO is targeting every touch screen market out there.

The infrared touch technology is known for its durability and accuracy. Despite these advantages, its price was too high for most applications. This is not true in this case. NEXIO is positioning them at very competitive prices, and the pricing alone will attract customers.

One of the drawbacks for infrared technology is that it is affected by sunlight. This issue has been eliminated.

NEXIO's Multi-Touch Screens are now distributed by SYNET, located in Little Ferry, New Jersey.

NEXIO Infrared Multi-Touch Screens and Monitors are introduced for the first time at the IT Channel USA Conference 2009 held in Santa Clara, CA on Nov 3-4, 2009, organized by SYNET and sponsored by Korea IT Research Institute (KITRI).
