NWP Services Corporation Enhances CSA Monitor Offering

New TotalCSA Product Feature Is the Only 100% Vacant Recovery Solution for the Multifamily Housing Industry

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - February 5, 2010) - NWP Services Corporation (NWP), the leading provider of financial transaction processing solutions for the multifamily housing industry, today announced the introduction of TotalCSA, the first and only 100% Vacant Recovery solution available in the multifamily marketplace. TotalCSA is a new innovative product feature of NWP's CSA Monitor offering that allows for identification, automated resident billing and recovery of 100% of electric and gas expense due to utility theft during the apartment resident's lease, from the move-in to move-out date. In comparison to other Vacant Recovery processes that depend on the receipt and processing of utility invoices, TotalCSA delivers a distinct advantage to customers, recovering 30% more in vacant charges.

"No other company offers a 100% Vacant Recovery solution that automates the process to help ensure that eligible utility expenses are automatically tracked, billed to residents and collected by the property staff," stated Mark Gentile, director of product management for NWP. "TotalCSA helps clients automatically capture those dollars that would otherwise be lost," Gentile added.

NWP, in partnership with BluTrend®, LLC, identifies lease violations with respect to early shut-off of utilities within 24 hours of its occurrence allowing for recovery of charges prior to a resident moving out where typical Vacant Recovery processes fail due to lack of utility bills. TotalCSA is very easy to implement and very user friendly helping owners and operators of multifamily housing communities increase Controllable Net Operating Income (CNOI) by 30% more in recovery charges while reducing the workload at the property.

TotalCSA is an add-on feature to NWP's current best in class Vacant Recovery solution, CSA Monitor. With TotalCSA, property managers can now obtain a Final Vacant Recovery Bill at any time, even if the violation is only 3 days prior to move out. In addition to generating a final bill, the service automatically uploads the vacant recovery charges to the Property Management System's resident ledger allowing for full accounting of all recoverable charges.

CSA Monitor is available today in Texas and Georgia and will soon be available in Alabama, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington.
