National Bank Financial Group to Collect Donations for Victims of Flooding in Pakistan

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 19, 2010) - National Bank Financial Group will participate with other financial institutions in the Canadian Red Cross campaign to raise funds to help victims of the flood in Pakistan. The campaign will run from August 20 to September 17, 2010.

Starting August 20, the public is invited to make a donation at any of the 444 National Bank branches in Canada. As part of this initiative, holders of a National Bank MasterCard with a rewards plan can exchange their rewards points online for a cash donation to Canadian Red Cross (without paying any fees) at

All donations collected will be used to provide immediate relief and basic supplies to the thousands of victims of the flood in Pakistan. The Canadian Red Cross will issue tax receipts for all donations of $10 and over.
