Launch of the new RRSP campaign

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 18, 2010) - Today, National Bank Financial Group (TSX:NA) is kicking off a brand new advertising campaign for RRSP season. As our signature "And action!" implies, our advisors are focused on action. The 2010 RRSP campaign therefore aims to provide valuable and practical advice to young families.

People are keenly aware of the need to save for retirement given the current state of government finances. However, the reality is that many young families have put this low on their list of priorities, considering the number of other obligations they have.

"Here at National Bank Financial Group, this is an important challenge and we are making it our duty to help all our clients plan for their retirement, while living life to the fullest today. To illustrate this situation and our solutions, in two 15-second TV spots, consumers are asked about their preparedness for retirement, with the answers revealed in 30-second messages explaining the decisions they made to get there. These ads, together with print and web components, will promote the Escalarater guaranteed investment certificate, offered at a very attractive promotional rate.

The communications platform was developed by advertising agency Bos.
