Nemaska Exploration: Re-Testing of the Whabouchi Property Samples

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 11, 2010) - NEMASKA EXPLORATION INC. ("Nemaska" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:NMX) announces that it has been informed by SGS Canada Lab in Lakefield, Ontario ("SGS") that the assay results of the spodumene bearing pegmatite samples collected in September and October 2009 on the Whabouchi property, for lithium (Li) and beryllium (Be) analysis, have given possibly biased Li atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) results due to a non-conformance in the method calibration procedure used by SGS. Such non-conformance was isolated by SG and attributed as the cause of a possible bias following an internal audit of the peroxide fusion AAS process employed for the analysis conducted by SGS. The error was corrected by SGS and the actions taken were fully documented.

A preliminary assessment from diagnostic repeats performed by SGS at the beginning of February 2010 indicated that the bias is in the order of 10 % relative for samples at the range of greater than 1 % Li. Such bias affects all or part of the results of the 854 samples assayed by SGS, which results were disclosed in press releases issued by the Corporation on November 5, December 21 and December 22, 2009 and January 19, 2010. SGS has undertaken to perform a re-testing of the 854 samples. Such re-testing is scheduled to be completed by March 4, 2010. Upon obtaining such results, the Corporation will issue a new press release in connection therewith.
