NetPlus Marketing Honored With MarCom Creative Gold Award in Interactive for Website Design on Undergear.com

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA--(Marketwire - November 19, 2007) - Interactive agency NetPlus Marketing is pleased to announce today that it has won a MarCom Creative Gold Award in the Interactive Web site category for the design of Undergear's e-commerce Web site, www.undergear.com. The award recognizes the creative talent, firms, departments and/or clients that collaborate on outstanding marketing and communication projects. There were over 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in the 2007 competition.

In May 2006, NetPlus was tasked with rejuvenation of the Web site for Undergear, an apparel brand geared toward the fashion-forward body-conscious male. NetPlus developed a multilayered strategy for the site design, considering, among others, target audience demographics, competitive differentiators, obstacles and overall business goals for the new site. The revamped site features a "Shop by Brand" option, highlighting the latest offerings from various affiliated brands, and a "Shop by Department" option, which organizes products into swimwear, workout wear, new products and complete outfit sections. Navigation and customer service were improved and the shopping functionality features AJAX technology that enables a more engaging, interactive and efficient shopping experience.

With a strategic customer-centric approach, NetPlus Marketing's site redesign gave Undergear.com significant uplift, not only in appearance, but in usability and interactivity, with the goal of further engaging and building Undergear's current audience, as well as positioning the brand to a broader demographic. The Web site evolved into an e-commerce business that continuously generates new customers and grows revenues as a significant business channel, as well as serving to enhance the brand image and grow brand recognition.

MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials.
