Network Equipment Technologies and UC Planet Join Forces to Deliver WAN Bandwidth Management for Unified Communications

The partnership allows NET to globally resell UC Planet's Lookout software for IP WAN Bandwidth Management to NET's enterprise and government customers, channel partners and carriers. Further, it enables NET to integrate UC Planet's Lookout software into future NET products to provide a one-stop solution for WAN Bandwidth Management and Call Admission Control for unified communications and voice systems, optimizing usage of SIP trunks, and routing over PSTN when an enterprise WAN is oversubscribed.

NET's VX Series voice switches provide "any-to-any" voice integration and advanced capabilities for high-performance, secure voice communications. VX Series voice switches offer outstanding interoperability for enterprise unified communications and enterprise voice systems.

The combination of NET voice switches and UC Planet's Bandwidth Management solutions will help organizations save bandwidth-related costs while ensuring high availability of their UC investments by applying bandwidth policies across unified communications platforms, IP PBX's, conferencing systems, enterprise voice systems and network infrastructure.
