Nevada Copper Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2007) - Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX:NCU)(FRANKFURT:ZYT) ("Nevada Copper") is pleased to announce the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held on November 16, 2007. At the Meeting, the shareholders of the Nevada Copper approved all resolutions placed before them by management, including the election of directors, the appointment of the auditor and the new stock option plan. Giulio Bonifacio, Joseph Giuffre, Brian Kirwin, Joe Kircher, Damien Reynolds and Foster Wilson were re-elected as directors.

The shareholders also approved the appointment of Manning Elliott as the Nevada Copper's auditors and authorized the directors to fix their remuneration.
