San Diego's Largest Fine Art Festival Brings More Sculpture, Fun for Families at KidsWalk, Philanthropic Opportunities to Support ArtReach, Entertainment and More


SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - January 13, 2010) - In its 26th year, Mission Federal ArtWalk is proud to announce what's new for the treasured fine art festival that attracts more than 300 artists who display and sell their work for an estimated 120,000 attendees to enjoy each year. The two-day event takes place on April 24 and 25 in San Diego's Little Italy district and is well-known for bringing together all facets of the arts.

This year's special features include:

--  ArtReach silent auction:  Attendees can bid on the opportunity to win
    an original portrait of themselves, their families and/or a pet from a
    line-up of talented artists.
--  The community is invited to vote on official t-shirt art for 2010!
    Each year, Mission Federal ArtWalk releases a signature t-shirt, which is 
    given to artists and volunteers, and sold with proceeds to support the
    event for future years.  This year, the fine art festival is inviting the
    community to participate in the process by visiting
    www.missionfederalartwalk.org throughout January and February to review 18
    art pieces and vote for their favorite.
--  KidsWalk is set to expand! Located at Amici Park, KidsWalk gives
    children and families an opportunity to find their 'inner artist' and come
    and enjoy visual and performing art in a fun and creative way.
