New Bradford Networks Referral Program Helps Higher Ed Network Security Customers Earn Scholarship Money for Their Schools

Innovative New Program Enables Schools to Earn Up to $1000 per Referral

CONCORD, NH--(Marketwire - December 1, 2009) - Bradford Networks, a proven leader in securing today's heterogeneous networks, has launched a new Scholarship Program for its customers in the education market. With this new program, existing Bradford customers have the opportunity to earn scholarship money for their schools simply by referring other institutions to Bradford. When a referral customer purchases a Bradford network security solution, the referring institution earns a donation of up to $1000 from Bradford Networks. The donation is sent directly to the school's general scholarship fund.

Bradford Networks previewed the program to attendees of the EDUCAUSE conference last month, and feedback was very positive. "We've been using Bradford Campus Manager across our campuses since 2005, and have been extremely satisfied with the level of security it has provided," said Pete Hoffswell, Network Manager at Davenport University. "We're very confident about recommending Bradford's solution to our peers and look forward to taking advantage of this program."

Bradford's award-winning Campus Manager solution helps secure campus networks by:

-- Registering computers, game consoles, PDAs and other networked devices;

-- Checking computers for up-to-date OS patches, anti-virus and anti-spyware protection, and restricted applications such as P2P;

-- Allowing users to remediate any compliance issues without having to engage IT staff;

-- Adding access control to campus wireless deployments;

-- Tracking all network access and usage; and

-- Broadcasting important messages and emergency notifications instantaneously to all network users.

Campus Manager is part of Bradford's Network Sentry family, the first network security offering that can automatically identify and profile all devices and all users on a network, providing complete visibility and control. From public school districts to private schools, from boarding schools to colleges and universities, Campus Manager is in use today by hundreds of educational institutions to prevent unauthorized access and keep networks secure.

"We realize that it's a tough time for many schools, and recognize how important every donation can be," said Gregg Bjork, CEO of Bradford Networks. "This referral program gives us the opportunity to thank our customers for their help by giving back through donations to their scholarship fund."
