New SCADA Application Briefs From Semaphore Describe Solar Power Monitoring Solutions

LAKE MARY, FL--(Marketwire - March 29, 2010) -   Semaphore, a CSE Global company, has released two technical documents with information on applications of the T-BOX LT all-in-one RTU. T-BOX LT brings new technology to monitoring of solar power systems for electric generation and hot water heating.

"Solar Electric Generator Monitoring System" and "Solar Hot Water Monitoring System" describe how requirements for live monitoring and historical report generation satisfy end users, third-party service providers and regulatory agencies.

In both applications, an integrated, RTU solution manages input measurements and a broad range of communications devices to efficiently allow access to all locations. T-BOX LT further extends advanced IP communications, an integral web server, and push technology to comprise a very informative monitoring system.

These new applications briefs and other SCADA literature are available on the Semaphore website,

T-BOX is the first IP-based telemetry solution that enables the complete integration of SCADA system, control, and communications functionality in one rugged package. It leverages easy-to-use Web technologies and inexpensive public networks for decentralized monitoring and control systems. T-BOX products offer up to 50% less total installed cost per point versus traditional SCADA/ PLC systems and permit greater organizational access to data through automated reporting and browser software.

Semaphore's T-BOX and Kingfisher RTU products are ideal for a broad range of monitoring and control applications in the broadcast / telecom, infrastructure management, oil & gas, power, transportation and water / wastewater industries. For more information about Semaphore solutions, visit, or contact Semaphore at 1200 Chantry Place, Lake Mary, FL 32746, 407-333-3235.
