New Sage BusinessWorks Accounting 2010 Provides SMBs Superior Ease of Use and Accounting Efficiency

New Version Includes Updated User Interface and New Reporting System Among Usability Enhancements

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - November 16, 2009) - Sage North America, which provides business management software and services to more than 2.9 million small and midsize businesses in North America, today announced the launch of Sage BusinessWorks Accounting 2010. The new version features significant usability enhancements that enable users to quickly and easily manage business and accounting functions, plus new reporting capabilities for improved capture and analysis of business data.

Sage BusinessWorks 2010 provides a completely redesigned user interface, which enables highly functional, intuitive and easy access to critical company data. From invoicing to audit trails, the new user interface guides users through the quick and accurate completion of tasks.

The newly added reporting system features drill-down capabilities to the details of transactions, drill-down capabilities to the task screen, plus three levels of report customization:

--  Quick Reports are for users who want to add/subtract/move fields or
    change the filter or sort options.
--  Comprehensive Reports are for users more comfortable in the report
    design arena and enable users to add/subtract/move fields, add
    calculations, add customer drill down or drill to fields, and more.
--  SQL Report Programming is only available with the Custom Office
    module, providing the Comprehensive Reports access to this portion of the
    application.
