New Site Helps Victims and Their Families Find Aid in Time of Crisis

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - November 7, 2007) - On the heels of a disturbing congressional report about widespread nursing home abuse, website launched this week acting as a source of information and support for Nursing Home or elder abuse.

The website includes articles defining the many categories of nursing home abuses, recent news articles, and information on the steps to take if someone suspects nursing home abuse. The staff at the website will also direct inquiries to a local attorney who specializes in nursing home abuse cases if requested.

"This website is a great information source for those who may be victims of nursing home abuse," says Tim Dillard, Director of the site. "Unfortunately, nursing home abuse is a lot more common than most people think."

According to a congressional report released this week approximately one third of all nursing homes in the United States have been cited for verbal, sexual and physical abuse upon their patients. Of those reported one in ten was considered serious enough to either put residents at great risk of harm, injure them or kill them.

The website,, is owned by Domain Marketing Resources, a company headquartered in Houston, Texas that runs more than 500 websites.
