New VP Finance Announced for Nai Kun Wind Development
Inc

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 9, 2005) - Nai Kun Wind
Development Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Uniterre Resources Ltd
(TSX VENTURE:UNT), announced today the appointment of Milt Woensdregt,
as a director and VP Finance, effective February 4, 2005.

Mr. Woensdregt most recently worked with Terasen Inc., formerly BC Gas
Inc., as Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and
Treasurer from 1998 to 2004.

President of Nai Kun Wind Development Inc. "His experience in project
financing and large construction projects will be invaluable as we move
into the next phase of the Nai Kun Wind project."

After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from University of British
Columbia in 1979, Mr. Woensdregt began working with the international
accounting firm KPMG, where he was a partner from 1991 to 1998. Mr.
Woensdregt has extensive experience at both Terasen and KPMG with
significant corporate transactions, including large construction
projects and related financings, and new operations and effective
corporate governance. At Terasen, he was involved with the construction
of the Corridor Pipeline and the Southern Crossing project.

Mr. Woensdregt has volunteered in a number of community activities
including The United Way and The Children's Foundation, a not-for-profit
society which cares for abused children.

Nai Kun Wind Development Inc. (www.naikun.ca) is the developer of the
proposed 700MW Nai Kun Wind Farm off the north coast of British
Columbia. When fully operational, up to 350 wind turbines will generate
enough electricity to power 240,000 homes. Expected to begin
construction in 2007, the project is currently raising development
financing and undergoing environmental review.
