NewMarket Named Fastest-Growing Technology Company in Dallas-Fort Worth

NewMarket Technology was recently announced as the fastest-growing technology company in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area for the second year in a row on the Metroplex Technology Business Council's (MTBC) Tech Titan Fast 50, compiled by Deloitte. NewMarket is the only company to be ranked number one more than once on the Tech Titan Fast 50. This is the fourth year in a row the company has been named to the Tech Titan's list. The Tech Titan Fast 50 recognizes the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the DFW area, based on percentage revenue growth over five years (2002 to 2006) as well as percentage revenue growth over one year (2005 to 2006). The Tech Titans Award Ceremony was held Saturday, September 29th. For more information on the Tech Titan awards, please visit

The Tech Titan nominees and winners were recently featured in a special publication by the Dallas Business Journal. The Tech Titan Fast 50 winners were ranked in the publication and the publication included an article on the number one winner, NewMarket Technology, stating, "NewMarket uses a leap-frog strategy in such regions (regions with quick-growing economies like Asia and Latin America). In the United States and other developed countries, last-generation technology has to be knocked out first for a company to introduce new products or services. But in the less-developed countries, the markets may not have any technology in place yet, and a new company can introduce the technology solution."

Additionally, a video has been posted to YouTube featuring the top ten Tech Titan Fast 50 winners and NewMarket's CEO, Philip Verges:
