NextPhase Wireless Expands Offerings With Addition of High Capacity Service Plans Over Licensed Wireless Spectrum

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - NextPhase Wireless, Inc. (OTCBB: NPHS), a nationwide developer of WiMAX-ready networks and provider of advanced wireless broadband solutions, today announced the availability of a new range of high capacity service plans utilizing licensed wireless spectrum. The Company is currently focused on marketing these new plans to the multi-tenant unit (MTU) and wireless local loop backhaul markets, in addition to key vertical markets including education and entertainment.

"Aggregate demand for bandwidth continues to nearly double year-over-year, according to analysts at Nemertes Research. Yet, deployment of traditional telecommunications infrastructure is failing to keep pace with current demand, much less anticipated future growth. As existing excess capacity is rapidly consumed by a growing number of users, the resulting bottlenecks are creating tremendous market opportunities for wireless connectivity providers, such as NextPhase Wireless," stated Tom Hemingway, Chairman and COO of NextPhase.

Continuing, Hemingway said, "Until now, NextPhase has elected to use licensed spectrum primarily as backhaul for our existing wireless footprint. But, because it offers exclusivity, reliability and capacity that enables rapid deployment of robust, cost-effective wireless networks -- while boasting the same benefits of traditional technologies at a fraction of the cost and time to deploy, we intend to leverage our access to licensed spectrum to begin offering this new range of high capacity licensed wireless connectivity services, scalable from 50 Mbps to 1 Gbps, to select new and existing customers in the markets we serve."

"However, given the fact that related equipment costs remain relatively high, it is essential that we pursue sales opportunities intelligently and methodically. This is why we have chosen to initially target high capacity users within the MTU and wireless local loop backhaul markets. In addition, because NextPhase enjoys particularly strong customer relationships within the education and entertainment sectors -- involving users with considerable and growing bandwidth requirements, we will also offer these new plans to primary and secondary educational institutions and movie/television production companies," added Hemingway.

NextPhase's new licensed high capacity service plans are now available in the Los Angeles and Orange County markets in Southern California. The Company intends to begin offering these same specialized service plans in other markets pursuant to a phased roll-out strategy in New Jersey/Philadelphia, Atlanta and South Florida scheduled to commence next month.
